On the ad side it blocks invalid clicks before they charge your campaigns across Google, Microsoft, Meta and TikTok. It also handles AI shopping agents arriving at checkout, allowing verified agents through and blocking unverified bots. Every decision is recorded as a verifiable receipt rather than an opaque score.
- **Why does an SEO agency care about Shopify fraud?** Because we are usually the ones being paid to fill that cart. The app uses Web Bot Auth, built on RFC 9421 HTTP Message Signatures, which is a real IETF standard for cryptographically signed requests. An agent that signs its requests can be verified and allowed through; an unverified bot claiming to be a shopping agent is not. That distinction is going to matter more every quarter, and it is better to have it before you need it.
